Connolly, Martin Lee
Died peacefully on Monday August 14, 2017 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood surrounded by his family at the age of 69. Martin of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Toronto, beloved husband of Ruth for 46 years. Loving father of Sean and Erin. Dear brother of Neil and his wife Lynn and the late Brian. Dear brother-in-law of Stephen Crossman, Sherri (David Collie), Jeff (Cherie) Crossman, Stacey Cacciola and the late Gary Crossman. Martin will also be missed by his nieces and nephews – Christine, Samantha, Zachary, Cody, Mackinnon, Keagin, Koldin, Justin, Olivia and Jonathon, his many friends and neighbors and his grandpuppy Hurley. He is predeceased by his beloved mother-in-law “Mum” Doris Crossman and his parents James and Mary Connolly. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday August 26, 2017 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.. The Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 o’clock. If desired, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by Martin’s family.
