Died peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82. Ken of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Diane Ross. Loving father of the late Andrew Ross and step-father of Patricia Bigattini (Clive Mathias) and Brett Donald (Kirsti). Loving and adoring grandfather of Brodi, Elijah, Adrian, Reno and Ashden. Dear son-in-law of Dylis Martin. Predeceased by his sisters Rita Rowlands, Carol Ross and Lorraine Vass. Ken was a charismatic man with a dry, witty sense of humour. He led a life of adventure with his service in the Merchant Navy, pub ownership and his Bed and Breakfast in his native Wales and his many years working on the cruise lines. He was a skilled photographer, avid reader and he was passionate for gardening, golf and especially his family. Family moments and particularly winters in Florida were his favourite times. He will be deeply missed. A private family funeral service was held. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity most meaningful to you would be appreciated by Ken’s family.
