Hayward; Betty Denelda
Passed away on Sunday April 2, 2017 surrounded by her family at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland at the age of 90. Betty, formerly of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Arthur Hayward (1991). Loving mother of the late Vic Hayward (Darlene), Pat (Don Gulley), Jack Hayward (Catherine), Jim Hayward (Jodi) and Debbie Hayward. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 1 late grandson, 29 great-grandchildren,1 late great-granddaughter and 1 great, great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Dorothy Henning, Harold Laycock, Lorna McCracken, Catherine Skelton, the late Martin Laycock, the late Max Laycock, the late Bill Laycock and the late Ted Laycock. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She is knitting up a storm with golden threads! Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2017. Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 205 Oak Street, Stayner on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 1 o’clock. Private Interment Ivy Presbyterian Cemetery.
