Condolences

Condolence From: Robert Waite
Condolence: I apologize that my condolences are belated - I was out of the country at the time of Ron's death and I only just now learned of his passing from a fellow IBM colleague. I had an opportunity to work with Ron in New York (we were both AA's to Ralph Pfeiffer) in the early 80's and at IBM Canada from 1988 to 1994. He was a great ally when the going got tough and a fierce competitor on the tennis court and golf course. I will always remember his energy and determination and of course his friendship. My thoughts are with his family.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. My condolences go out to Maria and their family. I enjoyed doing business with Ron and the many golf games we played together. My wife Vicky and I enjoyed a wonderful week with Ron and Maria in Phoenix Arizona at a PMS conference. His enthusiasm for all aspects of his life was contagious. I loved the big clock on the wall of his living room and have one in my family room today. Never saw so many skylights on any house, but that was Ron. He did everything with full measure. Loved his Chrysler Viper. The world will miss a great guy. Rest in Peace good buddy. You left us too soon.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Maria, and to all of Ron's family, on his passing. May he rest in peace.

Ron was a very capable Executive at IBM Canada Ltd., and a great influence on the many IBMers who had the privilege of working with him.

When Ron was working for Ralph Pfeiffer Jr. in Armonk NY, he arranged a consulting engagement for me in Chile, an experience that I will never forget.

Thank you, Ron, for the many years of being a great colleague and friend!!

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Maria and the family. We will all miss Ron, the “legend” and good friend to so many. He left a legacy of legacy of leadership, mentorship, friendship and strong family. The years I worked with Ron were the best of my career. Staying friends in life-after-IBM was even more special. Ron will be forever in our hearts.
