Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood at the age of 90. Jean of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Lorne (1979). Loving mother of the late Graham (Janice), the late Betty Spence, Shirley (Currie Phillips), Murray and Brenda (Rob Trotter). Cherished grandmother of Michael Evans (Justine), Susan Evans, Tim Spence (Dianne Luangamath), Dan Phillips, Bethany Phillips (Dave Pawelko), Mark Phillips, Jennifer (Andy Friesen), Jonathan Evans(Shana), Stephanie Trotter (Chris Vollick) and Jessica Trotter (Sean Patterson) and great grandmother to Edie, Paris, Jackson, Ryan, Nate and Kayla. Dear sister of the late Don Graham (the late Lois), Harve Graham (Marion), the late Joan (the late Bill Wilson) and Phyllis (Lyle Edwards) and sister in law of the late Roger (Ina) Evans and the late Florence (the late Jim) Petillon. Jean will also be missed by neighbours and friends. Jean was a hardworking, selfless person with a quiet sense of humour. She was also a loving woman who was committed to her family and her faith. She enjoyed quilting and handcrafts and was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Stayner. Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, 205 Oak Street, Stayner on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. Reception to follow. If desired a donation to First Baptist Church or Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by Jean’s family.
