Reisman, Allan

After a long battle with heart and kidney disease, Al passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. Al leaves behind his loving wife Patricia, his brother Joel, his two sons, Noah and Dylan, two step-sons, Brian (Laura) and Brandon(Destiny), three beautiful grandchildren, Alaina, Isabella and Mia and his niece and nephew Barbara and Joseph. Al now joins his brother Bernie, father Louis and mother Ethel in the next chapter of their lives. Al was a dedicated family man which meant being a good husband and a dedicated father not only to his own two children but two step-children as well. Al worked very hard throughout his life, mainly as a taxi owner and operator. He was able to find success and move himself and his family to Wasaga beach in order to retire and spend time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to this, Al was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching every single one of his Maple Leafs' games. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Monday, May 27, 2019 for visitation from 12 noon to 1 p.m.. The funeral service will follow at 1 o’clock. Interment Wasaga Beach Cemetery. If desired, a donation to either the Kidney or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Al's memory would be appreciated.
