Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 86. Marion, beloved wife and friend of Murray Gauley for over 64 years. Loving mother of the late Bob (Janet), Colleen (the late Falk Gruenwald) and Michael (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Taryn (Dave O’Reilly), Lyndsey (Curtis Morrow), Matthew and Krista Gruenwald and Bronwyn and Calvin Gauley and great grandmother to Koen O’Reilly and Hadlee and Camden Morrow. Marion will also be missed by the extended Sinclair and Gauley families, her friends and neighbours and former colleagues. Marion was passionate, strong-willed and loyal to the ones she loved. She excelled in her professional career in a time when there were fewer women in the workforce. She enjoyed the natural beauty around her, particularly on the golf course with her friends. She cherished her family and the many wonderful moments that they shared. Marion will be truly missed. Family and friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday, December 28th, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 from 2 p.m. for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3 o’clock.
