Condolence: To Tony & family: Tony, we can't tell you how shocked and saddened we were to hear of Kathy's death. Sue happened to pick up the local paper on Saturday Nov.30 and noticed the obituary. I'm sorry we couldn't make it to the visitation as we were on our way to a family "Celebration of Life" in Oshawa for Sue's uncle. Please know that you, Kathy and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear about Kathy. My heart broke when I heard the news. I met Kathy twenty years ago when I first moved into town. Kathy was one of my favorite people. I loved running into her in the neighborhood. Her smile was always so bright and contagious and she gave the warmest hugs. We would talk endlessly about our families and what has been going on in our lives. Over the years I would put a train out on my porch at Christmastime. Kathy loved my train and one year bought one just like it for herself! This year I will display the train in honour of Kathy. I am truly sorry for your loss. Kathy will be missed and she will never be forgotten, may her beautiful soul rest in peace.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies go out to Kathy's family and friends. I only met Kathy in person once--at the Wasaga Beach Distribution victory party last year in spring. However, I chatted with her many times in Messenger and we exchanged political viewpoints quite often on Facebook, usually in Wasaga Beach News & Commentary Group or on my timeline. We tended to agree in our points of view the vast majority of time. I will very much miss her communication with me and her thought-provoking contributions on line. She will be greatly missed by the community.

Condolence: Tony, Marc, Michelle, Morgan, Myles and Trevor. It is with heartfelt sadness that I share my deepest condolence on hearing of Kathy’s sudden passing. As you rise each morning may it help to know, be it near or far, many will pause with you in thought, prayer and support as you move forward. I wish you strength and comfort in the days ahead in remembrance of all the wonderful family memories and shared times. Kathy was as a very special woman, positive and vibrant; a wife, a mother, grandmother, friend and leader - and I am certain she will be missed by all that came to know her. A woman of depth and compassion; a pillar within her family and community. She seldom if ever, walked away from a challenge, big or small, and you could be sure she would succeed at anything she set her mind to. Kathy was fearless, embracing life and family to the fullest. You could sense her energy the moment she walked into a room. Her smile was infectious - always a mile wide, and one could see the twinkle in her eye as she created an opportunity to share with great pride and joy, the many accomplishments and special moments of each and every one of her children and grandchildren. She loved you all with never-ending reverence. Be assured, just as the sun rises and sets each and every day, the very essence of her being will remain near, steadfast and strong. Truly a role model we should all aspire to. With sincerest sympathy.
