Crosbie, Sarah Florence Yvonne
Died peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the IOOF Seniors Home, Barrie at the age of 97. Yvonne, formerly of Stayner, Hamilton and other locales and originally from Everett, was the dear daughter of Robert and Alice Crosbie. She is predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Connell, Phyllis Crosbie, James Crosbie and Fred Crosbie, nephew Doug Crosbie and niece Kathy Maltas. She will be dearly missed by her surviving nieces and nephews Patricia Maunder, Paula Ferguson, Bob Crosbie, Janice Burmeister, Kim Crosbie and Lyle Crosbie and their families. Yvonne was an elementary school teacher for over 37 years, dedicating her skills to the disabled. She made many lifelong friends and she will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Reception to follow then interment at Alliston Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
