Passed away at the Creedan Valley Care Community in Creemore on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 91. Martina of Stayner, beloved Wife of the late Hendrikus (Harry) Goorts. Loving Mother of Martin (Laurie) , Peter (Lucy), Ria (Cliff), the late John (Heather (Ed)), Cory (Nancy) , Mary (Al) and Gerry (Bev). Caring Grandmother of Kelly, Anne (Derek), Ryan (Abby), Colleen (Cam), Jennifer (Daane), Adam, Sarah (Kevin), David, Robyn, Steven, Brian (Shawna), Melissa (Brian), Kevin (Jackie), Leah (Adam), Lisa, Trevor, Kara, Jenna, Katie, Jordan (Emily), Rebecca and Rachel. Missed Great-Grandmother of Sophia, Ella, Jack, Aiden, Hendrik, Benjamin and Colbie. She will never be forgotten. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel , 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 215 Pine St., Stayner on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11 o’clock. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall.
