Memories of great times include the many visits to Cherry St, the church times especially Mission Band for me and my kids, all those wonderful visits to Pike Bay and the many card games our parents shared. Their friendship was God given and tonight I give thanks for the memories flooding back. Condolence: So many wonderful memories living next door to Jim and Betty on Cherry St. Two very wonderful, generous, loving, patient people who treated our children like grandkids. Thank you for sharing them with us. Both Jim and Betty made a positive impact on our family and there are often conversations that begin “remember when Mrs.Conn....” Did you know she gave red liquorice to kids who helped carry in her groceries (even when she didn’t need help).? Our prayers are with you at this difficult time, but memories will live on in all our hearts.
