Davidson, William Arthur “Bill”

Died peacefully on Thursday January 25, 2018 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland at the age of 87. Bill of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Jean Wylie and of the late Irene. Loving father of Terry and his wife Michele and Brent and his wife Sonia and step-father of Bruce and his wife Valerie, Russell and Stephen and his wife Beverley. Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Joshua, Adam (Katie), Janelle (Kyle), Ryan (Stephanie), Stephanie (Dan), Jesse (Brianna) and Amber (Thomas) and great grandfather of Sophia, Cohen, Arianna, Grey, Anna, Tyson and Scarlett. Dear brother of Bob (the late Doreen) and the late Jim. Bill is also predeceased by his parents James and Hazel Davidson. Bill was born in Mimico in 1930 and had a long career at Gilbey’s Distillery . Friends are invited to join Bill’s family for a Memorial Gathering at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday February 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local hospital foundation would be appreciated by Bill’s family.
