Condolence: Nani, when I think of you, I think of when I was a kid at Christmas. You, papa and Dean would come and spend the holidays with us. You would make these Christmas candy bucketsfor my sisters and I. They were decorated in Christmas paper, stickers and ribbons, and inside there were always candies that I'd never seen before, little books and gifts. When I think about it now, how much work and time you put into these buckets. At birthdays, there were the cakes you would bake with the coins inside wrapped in foil. When we would come up to see you, you would always have tarts, cakes, rolls freshly baked waiting for us. Then we would play board games late into the night. I remember your big laugh, and you putting pin curls in my hair. And later in life when I was married and living in Italy, you would always write to me and remember my birthday with the nicest cards. You will always be in my heart. I miss you. I love you. Michele

Condolence: Dean and Family

I am sorry to hear of Aunt Hilda's passing! All our thoughts and prayers turn to you and your family.

I remember every time we visited, Aunt Hilda would go against my parents wishes and take me down to the candy counter at her store. She would let me pick out my most favorite candies and told me to hide them in my pocket! Of course hiding them, meant not eating them, so we always got in trouble together for eating candy!

Cherishing wonderful memories!

Condolence: Dear Nani,
Though it had been a while since our last visit, you were never far from my thoughts. I wish I had a chance to let you know how much the memories of you and Papa over the years meant to me. You are in good company up there. I love you.
