Died peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in his 90th year. Ken of Stayner, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Barker (Paul) (2016). Cherished Father of Audrey (Dale) Plater, Shirley (Wayne) Cose, Tom (Bonnie) and Paul. Loving grandfather of Carrie Plater (Bob Shore), Kelly Plater (Greg Reid), Kimberly Plater-Mulhall (Mat Mulhall), Jennifer Cose (Zenon LaFrance), Steven Cose (Samantha Badgerow) and Becky Barker; and loving great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements will be private. If desired, donations in Ken’s memory may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle-Campbell House or Collingwood G&M Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel.
