Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 27, 2018 with family by her side at the age of 94. Doris of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late George Harris (1999). Loving mother of Mary (Ron Searl), Doug Harris (Shirley), Grant Harris(Karen) and Heather (Ken Zwarich). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Alison, Laura, Scott, Andrea, Pamela, Doug, Blair and Reid and great-grandmother to eleven great grandchildren. She is survived by brother Russell Pickering and sister Ruth Browse. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Doris was a strong and independent woman who loved and cherished her family. She will not be forgotten. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Monday December 31, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon.
