Condolence: We have such warm memories of spending some Sunday afternoons with Jacklyn in her room, sharing some precious time with her looking at her art creations and hearing all about them. She was such a passionate, kind girl with such a genuine smile. We will cherish those memories always.

Condolence: Jacklyn managed to worm her way into my heart during the years I had the pleasure of working with her at W. Ross. She was one of the sweetest, kindest and sometimes the most stubborn girl in residence. She gave staff a reason to smile every day. I know the stories of her being our "cookie monster" are numerous and all true. She usually found a way to sneak a few extra cookies and store them in her room in her not-so-secret hiding places. :-) She had a truly infectious laugh but also a serious side. Every night, when I take off my own eye glasses, I still hear Jacklyn's voice saying "when they come off your face, they belong in the case". She was a treasure and I thank both mom and dad for giving me the opportunity to be part of her life. May you find strength in the happy memories she gave you.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I spent several summers sharing a room with Jacklyn at Camp Quality. She was always the life of the party and could make anyone smile. I always admired her determination and positive spirit. My thoughts are with all of you.

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn about Jacquiline’s passing. Jacqueline worked hard on orientation with me. She enjoyed working on maps and directions. She was very willing to work to understand concepts. There were times that I knew her tinnitus was bothering her, but she continued to work on it. That was because even though it took her a bit longer to get it, she knew that she could and would get it. I will never forget her.

Condolence: I knew Jacklyn back when we were students at W. Ross . I tutored her with the computer. She was always a determined hard worker and she never gave up. We always saved her files at the end of class. She would look forward to opening her files the next class. She never showed her frustrations she just kept going. My condolences to the family. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Condolence: My deepest and most heart- felt sympathy goes out to you and your Family. I knew Jacklyn as a young lady at the W. Ross Macdonald School School when I was a residence counsellor. She always was so very friendly and sweet. She will be missed.

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of Jacklyn passing. We have fond memories of her swimming and playing with her friends on Madill Drive. She is a very kind and loving soul which we will always remember and treasure. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Condolence: Miss her so much. She had the best hugs ever..when she had four hug she would break out in song singing 4 Hugs a Day (longest song ever). She loved to sing grace before meals, the chocolate chip cookie song and That’s what Friends are for (we would sing that one together with our arms around each other). I miss her laugh. When she laughed, we all laughed...how could you not...she really had the best laugh ever. She was very ticklish on her feet and then she would laugh so hard. Jacklyn kept very busy with her Zaks, Lego (she was making a spaceship before she went into the hospital) beaded bracelets, necklaces and knitting. I think last year she made over 100 bracelets for everyone. She also worked on making baby sleeping bags for the babies in the hospital that doubled as socks. She had the biggest heart too with so much love. She would often pray for those around her and her family. She would ask God to keep her mom safe when she was travelling. She would pray for her dad when he was driving home and when he injured his hand. She would pray for her sister and her husband and their baby. She would tell us she loved us and she sure showed it. Jacklyn loved ketchup. She told me she once met the largest bottle of ketchup. She would put it on practically everything. When she went in the hospital a couple months back her dad brought her some. That made her so happy. She would bring that special bottle back and forth to the dining room until it was empty. I hope they have lots of ketchup in heaven.
