Condolences

Condolence From: Mary and Cathy Kavanaugh
Condolence: We are so grateful for having had the opportunity to know Petrina. She has been a gift to us as well as to her family and all of her friends.
She touched everyone she knew. She multi-tasked at home and she multi-tasked at Church. She handled her illness quietly, courageously and with dignity. She will live on for generations. Her children carry so many of her physical traits and display her loving disposition.
Lee is a great support for the family. He loves her dearly and the children too. We admire and love and respect him. He can be proud of his actions throughout it all. He always let Petrina know how much he adored her and that they were a team and she will still be an influence in the decisions that he will make as an active and wise parent.
Petrina was a true champion and we were all in awe of her. God loves her and takes care of her and he keeps her in our hearts. To Lee and Seth, Caleb, Christian, Sarah, Abigail and Meghan, your Mom will forever remember something special about each one of you because you built it together with her and it’s a part of you. All of you have a fond memory in your heart and it is that what makes you so endearing to us. You love with your Mom’s patience and like her character, you smile with your eyes, so genuine and so heartfelt. May God shower your life with many blessings.

Condolence From: Fr. Mounir EL-Rassi
Condolence: The greatest the sacrifice makes the most perfect and most pure sacrifice. You will be greatly missed since you have witnessed in many ways with your faith, presence, and contribution to our parish communities. Mother Mary now will look after your family.

A friend of our community shared this: "I am certain that the ... trip to Fatima (last year 2017) put the children under the protection of the Blessed Virgin as you indeed were to be called home."

Your consecration to Mother Mary will have a life lasting effect. May they follow the example of St Catherine Labouré

“When Catherine was nine years old, her mother died. After the burial service, little Catherine retired to her room, stood on a chair, took our Lady's statue from the wall, kissed it, and said: "Now, dear Lady, you are to be my mother." May you rest in peace Petrina! Amen.
