The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Antonin Sekvenc can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Maria Gatzios
Condolence: Tony's cherished community in this world has lost it's spark...things are a little bit dimmer right now. Tony was a special person and all of us who knew Tony share in this very sad and sudden loss, my deepest condolences to his family on the loss of your brother and uncle.

Tony was a friend to many who valued, cared for and tended to his friendships, (except maybe when he gave just one tiny bit too much unsolicited advice mid-point).

Tony's ever-present happy grin, his sarcastic wit and frequently funny but sometimes eye-roll worthy puns and jokes, his endless desire to teach others and encourage others to be their best with endless help and thoughtful attention, his emails sending obscure links to music videos he liked, his typo-riddled texts on his ancient 9 button cell phone, his gentlemanly manners and his very giving spirit are just some of the things I will remember fondly about Tony.

Although I met Tony as a tennis player on the courts at Davisville, I am sad to have to say farewell to Tony my friend. We will miss you.

Maria Gatzios.

Condolence: Uncle Tony (a.k.a. "don") was a key figure of my youth and I remember him with love and fond memories from that time. He would be glad to know that his final rest is in Stayner alongside his beloved mother Ludmilla. Rest in peace. Love, Norm.

Condolence: I will miss our conversations, the advice, the good company. Tony had this willingness to integrate people through tennis, this excellent sense of community manifested through the sport. Someone who was extremely good at what he loved. I remember him guiding me as a partner through some nice wins at intercounty matches.

Tony will be greatly missed. My most sincere condolences. May God give Tony’s family the strength, wisdom and comfort through this pain.
