Dimock, V. Raymond
Died suddenly on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 85. Raymond of Wasaga Beach, loving husband of Ruby and the late Janet (1996). Devoted family man and father of Karen Dimock (Bert Strang), Wendy Conquer (Dick), the late Timothy (1962), Terry Dimock (Kelly McCallum), Kelly Crossland-DaCosta (David), James Faulkner (Andrea) and the late Lionel Faulkner (Heather). Proud grandfather of Amanda Conquer (Marco), Lisa Burgess (Adam), Zachary Dimock, Trevor Dimock, Jonathan Crossland, Nicholas Crossland (Brandy), Felicia Crossland (Ben), Victoria Crossland (Khal), Lindsay Faulkner and Thomas Faulkner and to two great grandchildren Bentley and Lincoln Burgess. He is survived by his brother Maurice (Julie) and predeceased by siblings Lewis, Charles, Mary and Marion. Ray was a kind man who loved his family deeply. He was a creative, talented and self-taught woodworker, loved feeding wildlife who visited his yard and enjoyed cards and darts with his friends. Ray will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, his companion Pooh-II, friends and the community. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Sunday April 15, 2018 beginning at 1 o'clock. Funeral Service to celebrate his life in the Chapel beginning at 2 o’clock; reception to follow.
