Died suddenly on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto at the age of 73. Tom of Stayner, formerly of Brampton, beloved husband of Eileen (nee Winnington) for 49 years. Loving father of Kevin and his wife Yvonne and Ken and his wife Melinda. Cherished Papa of Jessica, Nicole, Emma and Jenna and Kyle and Tyler and to great grandson Jackson. Tom will also be missed by his brother-in-law George Winnington and his extended family, his friends and neighbours. Tom was an easy going man who made friends easily. He loved to fish, work with wood and he enjoyed playing his guitar, banjo and ukulele. He had a deep love for his family and he will be dearly missed. Friends are invited to join his family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. for visitation. Light refreshments will be served. If desired, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Tom’s family.
