Schiavo, Rose Louise (nee Desrosiers)

Died peacefully on Sunday March 18, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in her 78th year. Rose of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Schiavo (2011). Loving mother of sons Denis (Susan), the late Robert (2006), Marc, Ti-Jean (Christine), blessed with a daughter Angèle and Lorne Storey (Karen). Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Shannon), Stéphane (Pollyanna), Céline, Lianne, Hallie and Nathan and two great grandchildren Amy and Oliver. Dear sister of Rhéa (the late Armand Laperrière), the late Lionel (the late Cécile), the late Oliver (Lucienne), the late Laurent, the late Armasse (the late Sarah), the late Armand (Antoinette) and the late Eugene (Rita). Rose is predeceased by her parents Marie Claire (Claira) and Onésime Desrosiers. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 12 noon until 2 p.m.. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 215 Pine Street, Stayner at 2:30 p.m.. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Bay.
