Died suddenly on Saturday March 17, 2018 at her home at the age of 69. Sharon of Stayner, formerly of Duntroon, beloved wife of Tom Rawn. Loving mother of Kim Rawn, Shawna (Jim Wyant) and Angela (Butch Ree). Cherished grandmother of Ashley and Dallas Cook, Derrick, Adam, Matthew and Dylan Wyant and Emily, Lucas and Brandon Ree and great grandmother of Thianna and Tessa. Sharon is survived by her siblings Charlie (Doreen) MacDonald, Phyllis VanNest and Brian (Linda) MacDonald. She is predeceased by siblings Helen Metheral, Beth Edwards, Avis Hurst, Alec, Keith, Don and Mac MacDonald and brother-in-law John Rawn. She will also be missed by her in-laws Ida (Doug Long), Russell Stroud (Karen) and Heather (Phillip Laundry), her many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Sharon was a quiet woman who was kind and loving to her family and friends. She loved her gardens and she loved to shop. She will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join her family for a Memorial Gathering at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. If desired, a donation to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation for the Cancer Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
