Condolence: I am so extremely saddened by this news. I worked with Matt at Tower Automotive. We started the same day. Him 18 and i was 20. Matt was very funny and also head strong and always made me laugh. We were genuine friends. He was there for my 21st birthday. We had so many laughs and shared so many stories. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I have thought of him often since those years and i will never forget the memories or his smile.

Condolence: I volunteered at the Barrie Bayside Mission with Matt in the soup kitchen. Matt was so funny, always had me in stitches. He would make up nicknames for the other volunteers. I often worked with him and a great group of other guys; lots of laughter, jokes, stories and I would sometimes get serenaded by them. I was so shocked to hear of him passing; utter disbelief. He had the best smiles; always a good morning from him. I will really miss him as will so many other people here.
