Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eileen Giffen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

When I was 14 and 15 I rode my bike to the Giffen farm from Websterville to pick strawberries and raspberries. One day i understood I was to work only in the morning so I didn't take my lunch. As it turned out there were more berries than expected so I just kept on working. When the berries were all picked it was time to go home (hungry). Eileen found out I had no lunch and she took me into the house and gave me a ham sandwich and a piece of lemon meringue pie. Nothing ever has tasted so good. And it was all done with such kindness. I have many happy memories of Eileen and I will always remember her. There is a wonderful painting of her in the store. Look at it and remember.
