Died peacefully on Friday February 2, 2018 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79. Regina of Stayner, beloved wife of Peter Weel for over 59 years. Loving Mother of RoseMary (Dave Hopper), Mike (Brenda), Tim (Laurie) and Dan (Donna). Cherished Oma of Naomi, Allison, Jessie (Mike Bannon), Jenni (Justin Joy), Amanda (Anthony Braden),Jake (Jamie-Lynn), Zak, Peter (Christina), Lindsay (Mat Bowins), Tasha (Dillan Forsyth), Shelby and Daniel (Dan Griffiths).Affectionate Old Oma of Reese, Carter, Liberty, Fallon, Avry, Jacob, Isaac, Sophia, Sydney, Jack and Waylon. Warmly Loved Sister of the late Wim Kleinveld (the late Mary), Hennie (the late Hennie Vermeer), Trudy (the late Simon VanRyn), the late John Kleinveld (Ria van der Mast), Riek (the late Cor Hystek), the late Peter Kleinveld (Olga), Jennie (the late Sam Jongkind), the late Margaret (the late Klaas Gresel), the late Hannie Kleinveld, Chris (Ray Peters) and Audrey (Chuck Lamrock). Dear Sister-in-law of The late Gre (the late Henk Overtoom), the late Ali (the late Arie Wijnker), the late Jo (the late Leo Straatman), the late Ted Weel (the late Gury)(Janette) and John (Margaret) Weel. She is also missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Regina was a caring woman who cherished her faith and loved her family deeply. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil prayers at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday February 8, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 215 Pine Street, Stayner at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Spring interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. If desired, a donation to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation-Cancer Care Centre or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Regina’s family.
