Condolence: Sending our deepest condolences to the Reid family in the loss of Andy. Andy and Dozer spent many evenings visiting with us and our dog Sadie at our home in Nolalu. Once Andy left our community we kept in contact and we were aware of his recent health concerns. We will miss our chats with Andy, he was a great conversationalist and we always seemed to have endless topics to cover. We hope you have found your peace Sincerely Marg and Cal.

Condolence: There are few people in this life you can sit and laugh with, for no particular reason, he just enjoyed people. He was a true soldier and treated soldiers the way he wanted to be treated. He shall be missed not only by his immediate family but he will also be missed by his family of Dragoons. Rest In Peace my friend you have done your part for Family and Country! Bold and Swift!

Condolence: Very sad to read this. I served with Andy with the RCD in Petawawa and have fond memories of him. RIP soldier.

Condolence: I had the privilege of working alongside Andy when he was posted to CFRC Toronto, and later when he was posted to my Regiment as the Ops WO. He was always generous with his time and wise counsel. I never failed to learn something from him, and he will be missed.

Condolence: Best known for his meticulous and deep thoughts on many a subject; soldiering along side with Andy was a privilege...a sideways smile or laugh was his signature trademark, through good or rough times while in uniform. When Andy had walked by, you knew he was on a mission to get it sorted out & get it done right!! Of many years past and of memories recalled, thank-you for your service...both as a friend and brother in arms. -“H”-

Condolence: I would like to pass on my deepest condolences on the loss of Andy. He was one of my first vehicle commanders, where we got to know each other very well living in the same vehicle. We also played hockey together back and the day and enjoyed the odd beer. We will miss his wit and his sense of humour.
