Laube, Ladislav (Lada)
Died suddenly on Thursday December 21, 2017 at his home at the age of 60. Lada of Stayner, beloved husband of Elsie (nee Duits) for over 41 years. Loving father of Jennifer (Dan Crowder), Connie (Jason Henry) and Kevin (Jessica). Cherished “Pa” of Alyshia (Karl), Hayley (Scott), Rielyn, Mabel and Joshua and great grandfather of Liam. Loving son of Jaroslava “Bubi” and the late Ladislav Laube. Dear brother of Stan Laube (Michelle) and Tana Laube. Lada will also be missed by the Duits family, his colleagues at Base Borden and his neighbours and friends. He was a master carpenter and a jack of all trades, whose work is evident in many homes throughout our community. He enjoyed football and soccer, taking in the peacefulness of his back deck and cruising on his Goldwing. He was a quiet, caring man who loved his family deeply. He will be missed by all. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday December 29, 2017 at 1 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
