Sheila Ann May (nee Frost) of Innisfil, passed peacefully into the presence of God at Royal Victoria Regional Health Center, Barrie on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved wife and best friend to Kenneth May; loving mother of Julie, Kevin (Lori) and Darren (Monica) and Nana to Brandon, Kailey, Morgan, Nigel and Joshua. Dear sister to Dianne (Jim) Vanvoorst of Innisfil and Bruce (Judy) Frost of Redondo Beach, California. She will be sorely missed by her canine companion Cole. Sheila’s courage in the face of chronic pain for many years was a source of inspiration. She will be deeply missed and cherished by her family. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Diabetes Canada. Friends and family are invited to join her family to remember and celebrate her life on Monday December 4, 2017 at Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner, for visitation beginning at 10 a.m. with the Memorial Service at 11a.m. Special thanks are extended to her personal support workers over the years, Dr. Yen and the nursing staff of the Palliative Care Ward for their compassion and excellent care.
