Died peacefully on Friday November 24, 2017 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, surrounded by her family at the age of 86. Trudy of Stayner, beloved wife of the late William Carbray (2002). Loving mother of John and his wife Becky of Hamilton, Trudy-Ann and her husband Robin Smith of Stayner and William and his wife Cindy of Porter’s Lake, Nova Scotia. Cherished grandmother of Dawn (Steve Bogle), William (Karen), Ruth (Paul Angrilli), Elizabeth (Noel McEachnie), Jennifer (Ryan Cation), Ryan (Dawn), Angela, Heather (Greg Smith) and Robert (Megan) and great grandmother of twenty-three great grandchildren. Trudy is survived by sisters Shirley Cretney and Carol Frendo and predeceased by four sisters and a brother. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 1 o’clock. Cremation with interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
