Died peacefully on Friday November 3, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood with family at his side at the age of 91. Bill of Collingwood, formerly of New Lowell, beloved husband of the late Mary (2005). Father of Edward Arthur. Grandfather of Colette (Lou Ranalli) and Craig (Michelle) and great grandfather of Jessica Ranalli and Marissa and Ashley Arthur. Bill will also be missed by his friends and neighbours of the 5th Concession, New Lowell. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Chartwell Georgian Traditions Retirement Home in Collingwood for their care and kindness. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday November 10, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 215 Pine Street, Stayner at 1 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by Bill’s family.
