Died peacefully on Monday October 23, 2017 at the Collingwood Nursing Home at the age of 88. Ellie of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late George (2011). Loving mother of Cheryl “Susie” (Tony Costa), Cindy Smith, Sherry Smith and April Smith. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Khristina, Shauna and Michael. Dear sister of Gladys Losee, Betty Massey and Bob Truax. She was a caring and social woman who loved to dance, enjoy her garden, watch baseball and volunteer within her community. She will be missed. Friends are invited to join Ellie’s family for a Memorial Gathering at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday October 28, 2017 from 2-4 p.m..
