Died peacefully on Monday September 11, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood surrounded by his family at the age of 67. Sebastian of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Micheline for over 42 years. Loving father of Charlene (Valdo Melo), Kevin (Josee) and Christine (Mike Tennina). Cherished Vavo of Isabella, Julia, Trinity, Sebastian, Tessa and Gianluca. Dear brother of Eusebio (Maria Deus), Lucia (Eduardo Vieira), Jose-Dinis (Eduarda) and Maria-Jose (the late Jose Senra). Sebastian will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Sebastian loved to garden and cherished his time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Thursday September 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friends are welcome to gather at 10 a.m. Friday September 15, 2017 at the funeral home with departure at 10:45 a.m. for the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 215 Pine Street, Stayner at 11:30 a.m. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Patrick’s Parish hall. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by Sebastian’s family.
