Died peacefully on Thursday August 30, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 77. Lola of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Barrie, beloved wife of Réal Richard. Loving mother of Brigitte and her late husband Joseph Toth and Rob and his wife Carolyn. Cherished grandmother of Kristin French (Dave), Michael French (Catherine), Teresa Richard, Trish Alexander (Mark), Madisson Currie (Kurt) and Jonathan Richard. Dear sister of the late Jeanette (Dave Adshead), Bill McDonald and Virginia McDonald and sister-in-law of Louise Richard and Michel Richard. Lola will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, her many friends and neighbours. Lola had a very outgoing personality. She always held a positive attitude and was kind and loving to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join the family as they celebrate Lola’s life on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home –Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach. Light refreshments will be served. If desired, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Campbell House Hospice would be appreciated by Lola’s family.
