Ward, Jeannette Mary (nee Desnoyers)
Died peacefully on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie in her 89th year. Jeannette of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Thomas Ward (January 2017). Loving mother of Sharon Lammle, William (Roxanna), Linda (Philip Stonehouse), Thomas (Sherry), Dianna (David Finnigan), Jim (Arlene) Culbertson, Robert (Helen) Parsik, Lynda (Steve McMillan) and the late Louise Parsik. Jeannette was the proud grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren with more on the way! She is predeceased by her seven siblings. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jeannette was a dedicated leader within Girl Guides, Scouting and her Church. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Monday May 29, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and from 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, 219 Scott Street, Stayner for the Funeral Service at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. If desired, remembrances to the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd or the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be appreciated by Jeannette’s family.
