Died suddenly on Sunday May 14, 2017 at Waterside Retirement Lodge, Wasaga Beach in his 97th year. Jose of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Lina Fernandes (2008). Loving father of Isabel Fernandes and her husband Ron Skelly and Jorge Fernandes and his wife Luz. Dear grandfather of Nuno (Kori) Silva, Bruno (Mellissa) Fernandes and Denise Fernandes and great grandfather of Lukas Silva. Jose is also survived by his sister Leta Ramos, sister-in-law Natividade Fernandes and his nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel on Friday May 19, 2017 for a Memorial Gathering from 1 to 3 p.m. Entombment Wasaga Beach Cemetery.
