Died peacefully on Sunday April 2, 2017 surrounded by family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in her 90th year. Joyce of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Ronald Dale for 65 years. Loving mother of Michael (Janet), Chris (Sylvie) and David (Dianne). Cherished Grandmother of Andrea (Brandon Woodham), Nicole (John Hargrave), Whitney (Andrew Moore), Carly (Jeff Akitt), Bradley (Katelyn), Brittany (Jonathan Ingham), Nicholas Abbott, Rebecca (Chris Lindo), Blair and Kelsey and to great grandchildren Lilly and Addison Woodham and April Lindo. Dear sister of Sheila (late Cliff Everett), the late Joan (late Roy Bates), the late David (Mary) Goodwin and the late Alison Goodwin and sister-in-law of John Walker (late Frances). Joyce will also be missed by her family in England, her neighbours and her many friends. Joyce was social and outgoing and made friends easily. She enjoyed the tranquility of her gardens and she loved to knit. Many of her creations are cherished family keepsakes. First and foremost was her love for her family and the joy they brought to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren in recent years. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday April 7, 2017 from 1 p.m. for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.
