Dickson, Leona Helen (nee Hushen)
Died suddenly on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, her 65th Wedding Anniversary, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie with her family at her side, at the age of 84. Lee of Barrie, formerly of Wasaga Beach and of Woodbridge, beloved wife of the late Russell (2013). Loving mother of Debra Dickson of Edmonton, Alberta, Heather and her husband Patrick Matthews of Brampton, Norman and his wife Kim of Caledon, Kevin of Morocco, Warren of Brampton and Bradley and his wife Kim of Minesing. Cherished Grandmother of Blake Dickson, Ryan and Sean Matthews, Corey (Amanda), Kevin and Kendra Lee Dickson, Aimeé and Michaël Dickson, Christian and Jordyn Dickson and of great-grandson Dante Dickson. Dear sister of Ken Freeman. Lee will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Lee was a woman of great faith and generosity. She was committed to her family. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at Clearview Community Church, 1070 County Road 42, Stayner on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1 p.m. until the Celebration of Her Life at 2 o’clock.
