Condolence: Dear Heidi and family.
I was shocked to hear about Bill,s passing. He was such a thoughtful, kind gentleman. We could not have had a nicer person rent our fields at Cashtown.I remember how much he talked about his girls with such love and pride and that is 18 yrs ago!!The photographs show the same attention to grandchildren.I hope you can find comfort in the love of family and wonderful memories.

Condolence From: Tom and Laura Macham
Condolence: Very sorry to hear of Bill's passing - far too young and with far too much living yet to do. Thanks to Bill the Macham farm on Cornhill became an outstanding example of a modern working dairy farm - and I know my father slept well at night knowing that he had left his farm in very good hands. Rest in Peace William Elder.

Condolence: Very sad to hear the passing of a man who I attended school with for 12 years and a neighbour for many more. The sad news make us all more aware of how precious life is and how important it is to leave great memories that last forever for all to be remembered by. He has left too early for sure but helped create a great Family and accomplished so much in those years. My condolences to all the Family members.

Condolence: Dear Heidi & Family
Bill's time was cut far too short, but certainly there was never a doubt that he had a love of life and family! Conversations with him last summer at the Hincks reunion reiterated that. From his attendance, despite health problems to the smile on his face as he talked about his girls and the grandchildren. The photos you have included certainly solidify that love and adoration. I will be keeping your family in my prayers as you cope with his loss. My deepest sympathy to all the Elder Family.

Condolence: Sorry to learn of Bill's passing through the Alliston Herald. I knew Bill at BMHS many, many years ago. Always sunny and fun, we affectionally nicknamed him "Fudd." Though we parted ways a long, long time ago, always had good memories and remembered that sunny smile.
My condolences to the family.
