Died peacefully on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the Stayner Care Centre at the age of 94. Janet of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Elvie Peters (January 4,1999). Loving mother of Merilyn Charlebois and Susan (Jim Dougall). Cherished grandmother of Nelson (Michelle), Allison, Marcel, Jillian and Jaime (Darren) and to great grandchildren Sarah, Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Adam, Steven, Joey, Daniel, Zachary, Izabelle, Jack, Wesley, Alexandria and to great great granddaughter Aubrey. Janet is also survived by her brother-in-law George (Helen). She is predeceased by sisters Marjorie Trussell and Hazel Huntley and brother Eric Little. Janet enjoyed to sew, bake and travel. She was a caring mother and grandmother who loved to nurture children. She will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday February 19, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, 219 Scott Street, Stayner on Monday February 20, 2017 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by Janet’s family.
